For latest surf report and surf cam check hereKomune is smack bang in the middle of one of the best surfing playgrounds in the world. Either right across the road or within a 5 minute walk of our resort you have an incredible variety of world class surf breaks including Kirra, Greenmount, Snapper Rocks and D'Bah. D Bah is famous for providing consistent beach break waves and breaks 300 days a year on average. The other 3 breaks right in front of Komune are all world famous point breaks and can produce some amazing long rides with barrels a plenty.The Gold Coast has many other incredible waves on offer with the famous Currumbin and Burleigh heads point breaks a 15 minute drive north and to the south you'll find a vast array of uncrowded back beaches and reef breaks. Our Komune staff are experts and will guide you to the best surf each day for your ability and taste.

You will be guaranteed to see whales on the trip between June and September.
